What it does

Audio Search turns MP3 and MP4 files into searchable, timestamped transcripts. Search across all uploaded files, then jump directly to the matching part of the original media.

How to use it

  1. Add up to five MP3 or MP4 files.
  2. Wait for each transcript to finish, then search for a word or phrase.
  3. Click a timestamp to play the original file from that moment.

Tips

  • Short, clear audio produces better transcripts.
  • The current prototype transcribes one file at a time through the server.
  • When no transcription key is configured, a small demo transcript is shown so you can try the interface.

FAQ

Are my files stored?

The browser keeps the selected files locally for playback. The transcription request sends a file to the configured transcription provider and does not save it in OneDollarLab.

Can I search across multiple files?

Yes. The search box looks through every file that has finished transcription.

Does it support video?

Yes. MP4 files are played as video while their audio is transcribed.
