Everything runs locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to the server.

Print quality

339 DPI

Good for photo printing

Horizontal
762 DPI
Vertical
339 DPI

For 300 DPI, use at least: 1,182 × 1,772 px(300 DPI)

Only numbers are calculated in your browser.

What it does

Compare an image's pixel dimensions with a planned physical print size. The tool shows the limiting DPI and the minimum pixel dimensions for a 300 DPI print.

How to use it

  1. Enter the image width and height in pixels.
  2. Enter the physical width and height you want to print.
  3. Use the DPI result to decide whether to resize, crop, or choose a smaller print.

Tips

  • Around 300 DPI is a common target for detailed photo prints.
  • The lower DPI of the two directions determines the practical result.
  • The calculation does not inspect or upload your image.

FAQ

Do I need to select the image file?

No. Entering its pixel dimensions is enough, and no image data leaves your browser.

Is 300 DPI always required?

No. Viewing distance and print size matter; 300 DPI is a useful reference for detailed, close-up prints.
